In the last few days of May it will become warmer again, but this could well trigger off some heavy and thundery rain almost anywhere.

The first week of June will probably be the warmest part of the month as the dominating high pressure gives us all some balmy southerly winds, and these winds could well make it feel quite hot at times, especially in the east and southeast of England.

There will still be some thundery showers left over from the previous week, but they will slowly die out to leave most places dry with increasing amounts of sunshine.

Looks like it could be a hot one then, just watch out for that thunder!
