13th May 2004 - 17:26
Oasis have officially confirmed they’ll play the Glastonbury Festival on Friday June 25.
They’ll also play an intimate warm up date at the 2,500 capacity Poole Lighthouse in Poole, Dorset, on June 23, with The Bees as special guests.
Lighthouse spokeswoman Ros Fry told xfm: “We’re very excited to be involved with the band’s pre-Glastonbury warm-up. There were a number of other venues up for selection so we’re pleased to have been chosen.”
Tickets for the show go on sale this Saturday and are priced at £30 (plus booking fees). They’re available from Poole Lighthouse Box Office, Bournemouth BIC Box Office and www.oasisinet.com.
They’re also available through a new Oasis lo-call ticket number 0870-160-8989.
