REM to headline IOW festival

REM have confirmed they will headline this year’s Isle of Wight Festival.
They will play the Sunday night of the three-day festival, the first of the summer across the weekend of 10th, 11th and 12th of June.
REM’s Mike Mills said: “The Festival has got so much history, with Hendrix and The Who and everything that happened back then, we’re really looking forward to it.”
He also revealed he is relished the festival atmosphere, “There is a certain amount of energy with all those people in one place.”
