Camping at V Chelmsford sells out

14th March 2005 - 14:01

After going on sale on Friday, all the camping tickets for the Chelmsford leg of this year’s V Festival have sold out in record time, mere hours after becoming available.

Tickets for both sites of the two day event at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire were released on Friday (March 10) but all the camping tickets for Chelmsford were snapped up in only three hours.

V Festival Director, Bob Angus has said in a statement:

Tickets have only been on sale for 3 hours and we’ve only announced a quarter of the full and final line up. Today’s sell out is testament to our promise of a live music experience worthy of the 10th anniversary status.

“There are still day tickets available for Hylands Park, Chelmsford and both camping and day tickets for Weston Park, Staffordshire, so if fans don’t want to be disappointed, they should get their tickets now.”

Camping tickets for Weston Park, Staffordshire and day tickets for both sites are still available here.
Ticket prices are £110.00 for weekend with camping (Weston Park, Staffordshire only), £90.00 for weekend without camping and £52.50 for day tickets. Buy now before it’s too late!

The event takes place August 20 and 21 and so far the line up so far includes Oasis, Scissor Sisters, Franz Ferdinand, Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Embrace, Maroon 5, Ian Brown, Texas, Robert Plant, Dizzee Rascal, Goldfrapp, Athlete, The Zutons, Jet, Joss Stone, Kaiser Chiefs, The Bravery, Goldie Lookin Chain, Doves, Thirteen Senses, 22-20’s and The Music.

More acts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
