Oasis added to V lineup

Oasis have been added to the line up at this year’s V Festival.

They will play at Chelmsford on the Saturday, and at Weston Park on the Sunday, with the previously announced joint headliners of Franz Ferdinand and Scissor Sisters on the other night.

Embrace, Maroon 5, Ian Brown, The Zutons, Joss Stone, Dizzee Rascal and the Kaiser Chiefs have also confirmed they will play at the festival reports Virgin radio.

The event, which is in its 10th year, will be held at two venues – Hylands Park in Essex and Weston Park in Staffordshire on 20 and 21 August.

Tickets will go on sale on March 11 at 9am. Ticket prices are £110.00 for weekend with camping, £90.00 for the weekend without camping and £52.50 for day tickets. Tickets can be purchased here.
