Franz Ferdinand added to TITP lineup

Franz Ferdinand have confirmed they’ll be playing the T In The Park festival in their native Scotland.

The band will play the event on the Saturday (July 8). It’s their first appearance there since their 2004 debut, when they performed to the bash’s biggest ever Main Stage crowd.

Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Who have already been announced as the headliners for this year’s event.

The Chili Peppers will headline on the Saturday July 8 and The Who will headline on the Sunday July 9.

Saturday night sees the Kaiser Chiefs and Sigur Ros playing the main stage.

Primal Scream will headline the King’s Tut Tent and Felix Da Housecat will headline the Slam Tent, both on Sunday.
