New stage for T in the Park
12th April 2006 - 10:23
T in the Park announces a brand new stage today!
The all new 8,000 capacity Pet Sounds Arena will replace the 2,000 capacity X-Tent and will ensure that the UK’s number 1 festival’s line up is even more diverse and eclectic that it has ever been before.
The new arena has been created so that music fans will be able to enjoy even more cutting edge international talent at T in the Park such as already announced Sigur Ros, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Eels and Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals.
More artists were added to the new Pet Sounds Arena line up today as Leeds-based songstress Corinne Bailey Rae will take to the stage on Saturday 8th July, and Washington’s finest Death Cab For Cutie, Swedish singer/songwriter Jose Gonzales, sonic performers extraordinaire Animal Collective and NYC’s very own Regina Spektor will do the honours on Sunday 9th July.
