Stereophonics added to Live 8 lineup
20th June 2006 - 05:00
Stereophonics will be playing the Live 8 gig in Hyde Park, after deciding to fly back early from Australia to make the concert.
Singer Kelly Jones said: “We all really wanted to be involved in the Live 8 gig. It doesn’t take much for a band to sing a few songs and help bring awareness to a much bigger issue that’ll help so many other people suffering in the world, so that’s why we are playing. Long live rock n roll!”
The free concert takes place on July 2 in London’s Hyde Park.
