The Who to play Glastonbury?
26th June 2006 - 09:16
The Who’s Pete Townshend has hinted the band will perform at Glastonbury 2007.
The band have just begun their first ever world tour – and Townshend says he hopes it ends at Glasto.
In a post on his website before the tour started at Leeds University, Townsend said: “Tonight is the first show after an exhausting rehearsal schedule, and kicks off a tour that will last slightly over a year if I get my wish to end it next year at Glastonbury.
“Now that will be the show to watch. We should be warmed up by then.”
