Glastonbury Lineup – The Who confirmed to play

Michael Eavis has confirmed that The Who will appear at this years Glastonbury Festival.

He confirmed that they were playing after Pete Townshend, revealed to Xfm that he and bandmate Roger Daltrey would be attending.

Artic Monkeys and Bjork have also been confirmed for the Glastonbury Festival lineup.

He denied again, the Glastonbury rumours that U2 would be playing.  Other Glastonbury rumours, include Arcade Fire and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Michael suggested that ‘the biggest band in the world’ had contacted him about possibly performing and that they were ‘a modern band’.
