Reading and Leeds Festival tickets selling out

21st March 2007 - 12:33

Weekend tickets for this years Reading and Leeds Festival have sold out.

There are still a number of weekend coach packages available, through various outlets.

Day tickets are very nearly gone too, and will probably be sold out before the end of today.

Headlining the two festivals are Razorlight, Smashing Pumpkins and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

I find it sickening that some sellers on ebay have 40 (YES FORTY) tickets for sale while true music fans like myself couldn’t manage to get one. Surely it’s time something was done about this by the promoter

I know of some people who also have tickets to sell but they’re going to put them on nearer the time, alot of people will do this, so there’s definitely alot more than 40 people who are selling them! I get annoyed too when i try and get tickets for festivals. This happens with every music event and as far as i know there’s no way of stopping people doing this.

Especially when they buy the tickets with no intention of ever going themselves, and put it up to double the price they bought it for!
