Shirley Bassey added to Glastonbury lineup

Dame Shirley Bassey has been confirmed as part of this years Glastonbury lineup, Michael Eavis has announced.

Dame Shirley will appear on the Sunday and is renowned for singing James Bond theme tunes, such as Goldfinger.

She joins The Arctic Monkeys, The Who and The Kaiser Chiefs, for the festival which takes place at Worthy Farm in Somerset from June 22nd to June 24th.

Damien Rice and Waterboys have also been added to the lineup for Glastonbury.

Tickets for Glastonbury Festival go on sale this Sunday and over 400,000 fans have registered in order to purchase them.

Glastonbury Festival was granted it’s licence yesterday by Mendip District Council, which has alllowed it to expand the capacity to 177,500 people.
