V Festival Tickets sell out in record time
5th March 2007 - 12:17
All of the tickets for V Festival 2007 completely sold out within hours, after going on sale on Thursday morning.
150,000 tickets were snapped up for both sites within hours. There were rumours over the weekend that cancellations were available from some ticket sellers – check latest availability.
A statement from V Festival organisers Bob Angus and Simon Moran read: “We are absolutely overwhelmed that we have sold over 150,000 tickets this quickly.
“It really is testament to the fantastic line-up – to have eight of the top nine artists in the album chart, with exception of Take That – who no doubt will have their moment today when their tickets go on sale.”
V Festival is on August 18th – 19th and takes place at Weston Park, Staffs and Hylands Park, Essex.
The lineup features Killers, Snow Patrol, Foo Fighters, Mika and many more.
