Extra Glastonbury tickets sell out in 3 hours

23rd April 2007 - 10:40

Over 20,000 returned tickets for Glastonbury Festival were snapped up in under three hours on Sunday morning.

The tickets were only available through the telephone and the lines were swamped with frantic fans.  The ticket line opened at 9am and by 11:30am, all 22,000 tickets at £145 a pop were sold.

Festival organisers confirmed that all standard tickets have now been sold.

However, on Thursday April 26th at 9am there will be a final sale of unwanted or unpaid coach travel packages through See Tickets.

Prices are from £150 and are dependant on where you are travelling from.
