1st April 2007 - 21:40
Tickets for this years Glastonbury Festival, which takes place from June 22nd to June 24th, sold out within 2 hours this morning.
Glastonbury Festival organisers have said that up to 20,000 tickets ‘may be available for sale in the coming weeks’.
Tickets that people don’t want or simply can’t pay for will be made available for resale. Personally, we can’t see may people that don’t want their tickets, so the ones offered up again, will be the ones people can’t afford.
Although all tickets sold out within a record 2 hours, many people expressed their concerns that the website wasn’t available and the phones constantly engaged.

We had a party the night before but got up after an hours sleep and went to use the computer and phones. We got through once and they cut us off, then we got sent a link by a friend and got straight into the secure page however it would not except my friends name for ages even though she;d registered, eventually it did and we were gutted to see it was sold out, however our friend called and said to buy bus ticket festival tickets so we went back on and they were still for sale and we were lucky enough to be able to come from home taunton so it will only take about 40 mins anyway!we were very happy!! it was very very hard though but here we come glasto 2007 yey!!!

I got mine 12minutes after the website opened! I was constantly refreshing the page because it said it was to busy. So glad I got it now though
