New stage for Glastonbury Festival
8th May 2007 - 11:41
Glastonbury Festival co-organiser Emily Eavis has revealed details of a new stage for this year’s event at Worthy Farm, which takes places from June 22nd to June 24th.
The Park will be sited near the Stone Circle and will feature appearances by a number of high-profile acts.
Lily Allen, Jamie T, Spiritualized and Pete Docherty are all set to play the stage.
Emily said “A lot of people don’t want to be billed as doing a full set, but if they’re there they want to play.”
“I really wanted it to be a late-night destination that wasn’t too full-on, where people can go and relax.” when she spoke to The Guardian.
