Man dies at Glastonbury of suspected drugs overdose - 25 June 2007

A man has died following a suspected drugs overdose at the Glastonbury festival, police said.
The 26-year-old man, from the Midlands, was found collapsed on the Worthy farm site in the early hours of yesterday.
He was taken to Yeovil District Hospital where he died last night.

Glastonbury drug arrests already - 22 June 2007

Police have today revealed that they have already arrested 34 people for drug offences, relating to this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
Officers have been targeting people over a two day period travelling from Paddington station in London to the Worthy Farm festival site.  Using sniffer dogs on the platform, police were stopping anyone whose luggage raised suspicion.
