T In The Park kicks off

6th July 2007 - 20:28

T In The Park kicks off

Three days of fun is kicking off in Perthshire as the newly-extended T in the Park entertains the crowd with some of the world’s biggest acts.

Just over 60,000 campers will see the Arctic Monkeys headlining the main stage later before another 20,000 ticket holders pile down to Balado tomorrow to catch the rest of the weekend’s acts.

On Saturday, The Killers take to the main stage, jointly headlining with Razorlight.

And Sunday will be a day for the Scots with both The Fratellis and Paulo Nutini playing.

The weather forecast for the weekend is mixed, with scattered showers expected today and tomorrow. Sunday should be drier and brighter.
