Reading Festival organisers, Festival Republic, have purchased a further 65 acres increasing the Reading site to a massive 191 acres.
Managing director of Festival Republic, Melvin Benn, told the Reading Evening Post: “This is a very important piece of land to the Reading Festival and acquiring it was essential for the continuation of the festival in Reading.”
Reading Festival takes place at Little Johns Farms in Reading, from Friday 22nd until Sunday 24th August 2008.
The lineup for Reading 2008 is set to be announced sometime early next year – check the Reading Festival lineup page for the latest news.
