Glastonbury 2009 Weather Forecast

Just three weeks to go until the 2009 Glastonbury Festival and each year the hottest topic is ‘what will the weather be like at Glastonbury Festival?’.
The weather for any festival can play a major part in your fun, although some people do prefer a muddy festival!
Whilst the festival gates open on the Wednesday, here’s our Glastonbury weather forecast for the Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the festival itself.
Glastonbury Festival Forecast (Forecast as at 4th June 2009)
Thursday: A warm start to the festival with just a bit of cloud around. Temps expected to be around 16-20.
Friday: Early cloud will make way for a sunny afternoon with just a slight breeze.
Saturday: Mostly sunny with very little chance of rain. Temperatures could be as high as 22° C, so please ensure you’ve packed some sunscreen and a hat.
Sunday: A cloudy but warm start to the final day at Glastonbury, with just a slight chance of rain throughout the day. Temperatures around the 18-20° C mark.
Glastonbury Festival takes place at Worthy Farm in Somerset from the 24th to 28th of June and tickets for Glastonbury 2009 have now all sold out. The lineup for Glastonbury 2009 includes Bruce Springsteen, Blur, Neil Young, The Specials, Madness and many more.
