Weather Forecast for Leeds Festival
The August Bank Holiday sees the return of the Leeds Festival to Bramham Park. Headlining are Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys and Radiohead.
The weather forecast is always one of the most asked questions and it’s always a toss up whether to pack the festival wellies or the sun hat!
Here’s our weather predictions for the 2009 Leeds Festival:
Friday 28th August
A slight chance of rain early on with a bit of cloud, but this starts to clear after lunch. Temperatures are expected to be around 14-15 degrees in the afternoon to early evening with very little chance of rain.
Saturday 29th August
Dry start to the day with a bit of sunshine poking through the clouds at Leeds. Nice day and temps around 15-16°c with zero chance of rain. Remember to put some suntan lotion on, even though it maybe a tad cloudy it’ll still burn ya. Nowt worse than a red head!
Sunday 30th August
A cool but dry start to the day with quite a bit of cloud around. Fortunately, there’s only a slight risk of rain for the morning and afternoon. Slightly cooler than Saturday with temperatures around the 13-14°c mark. However, as darkness falls the clouds could open and heavy rain is expected towards midnight.
Don’t forget to pack your festival wellies, a hat and definately some suntan lotion – have a look at our festival checklist for things to remember.
Have a great Leeds Festival!
