Weather forecast for Reading Festival 2009
27th August 2009 - 12:10
This weekend sees the 2009 Reading Festival start and already the weather forecast looks good for Reading.
Historically, the British Bank Holiday weather can be pretty dire although the August Bank Holiday should fairly be certain of some sunshine.
Here’s our weather forecast for Reading 2009:
Friday 28th August
Just a few clouds in the sky and a slight breeze about, making it feel bright but just taking the chill off the sunshine. Temps expected to be around the 17-18 degrees mark with no real risk of rain.
Saturday 29th August
A glorious start to the day at Reading with early temperatures as high as 15-16 and rising. In the afternoon, temperatures are expected to be up to 20°c with a lot of sunshine – make sure you’ve packed suntan lotion and a hat! In the evening, temps will cool down as the clouds roll in. Zero risk of rain.
Sunday 30th August
Another bright start to the day and perfect to have your bacon butties outside your tent with on the Sunday morning. A bit of damp might be about, but that maybe from forgetting to go the toilet last night! Quite a cloudy day but the temps will be still be around 15-16°c and if there’s any rain, it’ll be in the afternoon.
All in all a cracking weekend of weather for Reading Festival and the lineup is great too, with Kings Of Leon, Arctic Monkeys and Radiohead headlining.
