Muse, Eminem, Jay Z and more confirmed for T in the Park 2010 lineup

Muse, Eminem and Jay Z have just been announced for the 2010 T in the Park festival at a special launch event in Glasgow.

Muse were last at TITP back in 2004 where they vowed the crowd with their set and are certain to do so again in 2010.

Muse bassist Chris Wolstenholme was certainly well chuffed abour playing again at TITP.

Speaking to BBC’s Newsbeat he said “T In The Park we’ve done three or four times before but we’ve never headlined it before,” 

“I think Eminem is amazing. I haven’t listened to the last album much but the album before that was incredible. I’ve never seen him live before.

“The only problem we have is that it’s world cup final weekend. If it falls on the world cup final and England happen to be there I might have to go and watch England play instead.”

Joining the already announced Kasabian, rappers Eminem and Jay Z will also whip up the crowd and there’s expected to be a huge rush for tickets, which go on sale this Friday at 9am through Ticketmaster.

Many more acts have been announced for T in the Park 2010 including Black Eyed Peas, Calvin Harris, Empire of the Sun, The Cribs and The Prodigy in what is looking like the best lineup yet.

T in the Park takes place at Balado airfield from Friday 9th JUly to Sunday 11th July.
