14th June 2007 - 10:06According to Digital Spy, Apple is organising a month of free gigs, featuring Mika, Amy Winehouse and Groove Armada, in London.
The programme at the Institute of Contemporary Arts is an effort by the download giant to emphasise the importance of live music.
It is planning to put on 60 acts over 31 nights throughout July - each of which will be available for download through Apple’s iTunes store.
Most of the line-up has now been confirmed and also includes Jack Penate, The Pigeon Detectives, The View, Crowded House, the Stereophonics and Travis.
Tickets - about 350 for each show - will mostly go to competition winners through various platforms.
