V Festival 2005 Directions

Weston Park, Staffordshire

Weston Park is situated on the A5 at Weston-under-Lizard just 30 minutes from central Birmingham, the nearest rail stations are Stafford or Wolverhampton.

SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE:
Arriva buses will be operating a £5 return bus service running from both Wolverhampton and Stafford Rail Stations to Weston Park.

BY CAR:

FROM M6 SOUTHBOUND off at J12 then A5 Westbound for 10 miles to the festival site.

FROM M6 NORTHBOUND off at J12 then A5 Westbound for 10 miles to the festival site.

FROM NORTH & WEST A442 to M54 or A41 to A5.

FROM SOUTH WALES M4 to A449 then A40 to M50, M5, M6 North as above.

FROM NORTH EAST M1 to J23a to A42, M42, M6 North as above J24 or M1 onto A50, A518, A41.

FROM SOUTH EAST M40, M5, M6 Northbound as above or M1, M6 as above.

Hylands Park, Chelmsford

Hylands park is in the parish of Writtle approximately 2 miles outside of Chelmsford, Essex on the A414. If you are arriving on foot please follow the signed pedestrian route from Chelmsford right up to the festival site.

FREE BUS SERVICE: There is a free return bus service running from Chelmsford bus station (opposite the train station) to Hylands Park.

BY CAR:

FROM EAST ANGLIA follow the A12 to Chelmsford, then follow the road signs to the festival site.

FROM NORTH, SOUTH OR WEST take the M25 junction 28 to the A12. At the Chelmsford exit from the A12 follow the signs to the festival site along the A414, where stewards will direct you to the appropriate entrance.

Coach:

National Express run services to both Stafford and Chelmsford. Check their website for further details.

Train:

Virgin trains have ran special festival trains in the past to both venues.
