First lot of tickets for Glastonbury sold

22nd March 2007 - 10:29

The first tickets for Glastonbury Festival were sold last night to a Premiership manager, reports NME.

They were being offered at a charity auction in aid Nordoff-Robins Music Therapy and Bolton Wanderers boss, Sam Allardyce snapped them up for £10,500.

The festival package includes festival access, helicopter transfers and access to the VIP campsite.

For those that can’t manage £10,500, ‘normal tickets’ go on sale on April 1st at 9AM.

Glastonbury Festival takes place between June 22nd and June 24th at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset.

The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, The Who and Bjork set to appear.  Check the Glastonbury Lineup page for a full rundown of who’s confirmed already.
