Almost 2000 artists and bands entered the Glasto 2007 Emerging Talent Competition and the winners can now be announced.

Manchester’s Liz Green was the overall winner and will play the Acoustic Stage and open the Other Stage - Glastonbury Lineup.   She will also record a session at Maida Vale and feature on Radio 1.

The Epstein will also join her on the Acoustic Stage.  The Grim Northern Social will appear on the John Peel Stage, Dr Meaker will play the Dance Stage and Feluka will appear on the Jazz World stage.

The competition has now been running for 3 years and sets out to find new, unsigned for Glastonbury Festival.
