Glastonbury ticket registration is to reopen
8th April 2008 - 09:20Glastonbury is to re-open the ticket registration, due to slow ticket sales. 100,000 of the 137,000 tickets have been sold in the last two days.
Organiser Emily Eavis says they are giving people who wanted to go another chance to register.
She said: “We’re having a massive influx of people saying they didn’t register.
“So what we’re going to reopen registration and allow the extra people who want to come to do so.”
Ticket registration reopens today at 16:00.
The lineup for Glastonbury is to be announced on the 1st of May. Already confirmed are Kings of Leon headlining the Pyramid Stage on the Friday night, with Jay-Z performing on the Saturday and The Verve closing the festival on the Sunday.
Glastonbury Festival takes place at Worthy Farm in Somerset from Friday June 27th - Sunday June 29th 2008.
