Glastonbury weather forecast
31st May 2007 - 14:20Let’s hope the weather for Glastonbury Festival is a lot better than what we had last week!
The BBC’s monthly outlook have predicted that “temperatures will be rather warm in the South West” for the end of June. Most of the showers are likely to affect the North West and the Midlands.
Looks like it could be a warm one then!

Weather for glasto is gonna be cloudy with a few spots of rain and sunshine, ave top temp bout 16 degrees, i think sunday night is meant to have a bit of rain but nothing major

Saturday is meant to be alright - meaning no rain! I can’t believe its only 5 days!!! I’m almost wetting myself.
What’s wrong with all the hateful people wishing rain on the festival? Did you not get a ticket by any chance???!!! Sour grapes! I think it’s realistic at this stage to assume it will rain a bit, but not like 2005. But to all those who aren’t going and are being spiteful…..enjoy watching it on the telly…baaaaaaaa!!!!!

Can’t wait for the festival, but yes the reports are true - a lot of rain. Not quite the storm we endured in 2005 but constant showers Wed - Fri, a possible break on the saturday, but more rain on Sunday and Monday. Lets just hope the experts have got it completely wrong!

I have been goin to Glastonbury since the 1980s and i will be there again this year but only because i make money there. Anyone in the know can tell you that Glastonbury has been rubbish for about the last 7 years. It has had its day. Still i will go there to fleece idiots as usual.

I was there in ‘97 when it chucked it down ALL weekend. T’was awful. 2005 was harsh but it only actually rained for a few hours over the whole festival and most of that was very early in the morning. Looking at the forecast, it’s got 1997 written all over it! See you there!
Hey i was in the 2005 poo storm and it was wicked. Don’t care if it rains again to be honest. Best time ever in ‘05 though this lineup tops it. Happy drug taking peeps! it’s gonna be a messy one. I said Glastonbury has been rubbish for about 7 years now but I did not say that I had a bad time there, I am always having a good time when I make as much money as I do from people such as yourself in such a short space of time. Glasto was shite never again. What a load of overhyped rubbish it was nothing special. Burning Man in the US or any Brazilian carnival would kick it to death.
Glasto rocked this year! Yes the mud did get a bit annoying by the end as my twisted knees will tell…but overall its the atmosphere (and the space cakes) that makes it and it was wicked - Rufus Wainwright, Bjork and Chem Bros were highlights for me.
Wish you’d have listened to uncle Matt don’t you………let’s face it …it was shite.
