Jay Z to headline Wireless Festival
8th April 2008 - 11:03US rapper Jay-Z has been confirmed as a headline act at this year’s Wireless Festival in London’s Hyde Park, the BBC reports.
Speaking to the BBC, festival organisers said the performer, who will play the first night of the four day event in July, was a “thrilling live performer” and a “true living legend”.
Mark Ronson, Hot Chip and Roisin Murphy will appear on the same night as the Grammy award-winning rapper.
Morrissey, Fatboy Slim and Counting Crows are the event’s other headliners. Full O2 Wireless lineup.
O2 Wireless Festival takes place in London’s Hyde Park from the 3rd to 6th July.
