5000 extra tickets for T In The Park will be made available for purchase next Friday 9th March at 9AM and can be purchased here.

40,000 tickets for the three day event were snapped up in just 40 minutes last Saturday.

Perth and Kinross Council have backed plans to increase the attendance by 5000 to 80,000.

Festival boss, Geoff Eliis told the council’s licensing board: “We have been involved in full consultation with all the services and indicated last year that this is what we were looking to do.
“We are confident 80,000 is a good figure.
“I’m not saying that 85,000 is too much, but 80,000 seems just right.
“We feel the numbers should not go any higher to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of our customers when they come to the festival.”

T In The Park 2007 takes place at Balado in Scotland from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th July.  Arctic Monkeys, The Killers and Kasabian are headlining the festival - view lineup.
