Organisers of the V Festival announce the return of the fourth stage, with a line-up including the Super Furry Animals and the 22:20s.

Not content with simply announcing more acts, organisers of V2005 have today revealed a fourth stage.
The Volvic Stage is set to offer a promising mix of brand new acts combined with renowned favourites. Its line-up includes Super Furry Animals, The 22:20s, Josh Rouse and Roisin Murphy, with more acts to be confirmed.

This year also marks the return of the Bacardi B Bar which boasts the country’s leading bar staff to serve up cocktails to a soundtrack of leading British DJs including Mr Scruff and Hed Kandi.

The sold-out festival takes place over the weekend of August 20 & 21 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire and this year celebrates its 10th anniversary.

The artists playing on the Volvic Stage are:

Super Furry Animals, 22:20’s, Roisin Murphy, Leaves, Stephen Fretwell, Ray Lamontage, Josh Rouse, Kubb, Morning Runner, and Diefenbach – with more acts to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Mr Scruff, Joey Negro, The Loose Cannons, Marc Hughes & Basil BlackIIBasic on percussion all day.

Hylands Park, Chelmsford August 21:

FAITH SPECIAL, Terry Farley, Bill Brewster, Stuart Patterson, Dave Jarvis, Leo Elstob & Basil BlackIIBasic on percussion all day

Weston Park, Staffordshire August 20:

Sandy Riviera, Unabombers (Live), Norman Jay, Benji B & Shovell on percussion all day

Weston Park, Staffordshire August 21:

Joey Negro, Hed Kandi (Featuring Laura on sax), Slammin Boys, Reeza & Shovell on percussion all day.

V2005 will take place from August 20-21 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire.
