Following an exclusive announcement on Absolute Radio, Kasabian and Kings of Leon have been revealed as headliners for V Festival 2010

Also just revealed are Stereophonics, The Prodigy, Faithless, Pet Shop Boys and dance DJ, David Guetta.

Full details of all the acts revealed so far for the 2010 V Festival:

Kasabian, Kings of Leon, Prodigy, Faithless, Stereophonics, Pet Shop Boys, David Guetta, Paul Weller, The Kooks, Paulo Nutini, Florence and the Machine, Editors, Mika, Ellie Goulding, The Charlatans, La Roux, Skunk Anansie, Katie Nash, Paloma Faith, Madness, Cheryl Cole and more to come.

Now in it’s 15th year, V Festival 2010 will again rock both Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffs, over the weekend of the 21st and 22nd of August.

If you can’t wait to go to V Festival, don’t worry as tickets will be on sale soon.

You’ll be able to grab your tickets for V Festival 2010 when they’re available to buy at 9am this Friday, through official ticket outlets such as Seetickets.com or Ticketmaster UK.

Virgin Media customers will be able to purchase V Festival early bird tickets from tomorrow at 10am, if they have their unique code – check with Virgin Media for full details.

Spanish festival, Summercase, takes place on July 14th and 15th and is divided between Madrid and Barcelona, with the lineup alternating between the two.

New Order, Keane, Primal Scream, Massive Attack and Daft Punk are among the bands set to play Boadilla Del Monte in Madrid and Parc Del Forum in Barcelona.

A man has died after being found unconscious at the Rock Ness festival in the Scottish Highlands.

The 39-year-old was discovered in his car by a member of the public at the event just after midnight, said Northern Constabulary.

Ambulance staff tried to resuscitate the man at the scene and he was transferred to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.

“Unfortunately the man died shortly after his arrival at Raigmore Hospital,” the police said in a statement.

They also said the man’s death did not appear to be suspicious. They have not yet released his identity.

Groove Armada, Super Furry Animals and The Rapture have been confirmed for a brand new Irish festival.

Lovebox Weekender Dublin will take place at Malahide Castle in Dublin on July 21st.

Groove Armada will headline the three-stage bill which also features Super Furry Animals, The Rapture, Toots & the Maytals, Just Jack, Sasha and Jape.

Joining them are are Blackstrobe (Live set), Evil Nine, Spirit Catcher, Rapture (DJ set), Kissy Sellout, 515 DJs, Deadbots, Dancepig, Hystereo, Japanese Popstars and Sourcecode.

The first few bands have been announced for Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Preston, which is Europe’s biggest free ticketed event and takes place on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th of May at Preston’s Moor Park.

The Fratellis, Just Jack, Kaiser Chiefs, Mika, Natasha Bedingfield, Razorlight, Scissor Sisters and Sterephonics have all been confirmed for the Big Weekend lineup.

Tickets for Radio 1’s Big Weekend are FREE and there are only 7,500 pairs available each day.
