Patti Smith and more for Summer Sundae - 21 April 2005
The Summer Sundae Weekender at De Montford Hall in Leicester has confirmed Patti Smith as the Outdoor Stage headliners for Sunday August 14.
Smith joins Friday headliners Idlewild and Saturday headliners Lemon Jelly at the festival taking place from August 12-14.
Other new names include Editors, Six By Seven, Alasdair Roberts and Amusement Parks On Fire.

Acts confirmed for Bud Rising - 21 April 2005
Ed Harcourt and British Sea Power are the latest acts to confirm a appearance at London’s Bud Rising festival. Both acts will appear at The Scala on May 25 as co-headliners.
Other Bud Rising acts include The Bravery, Dizzee Rascal and Supergrass, playing on line-ups they’ve picked themselves alongside a series of free showcase gigs.

Keane added to Eden Sessions lineup - 18 April 2005
Keane are the latest act to announce an Eden Session at the Eden Project in Cornwall. They’ll perform on Monday 1st August.
The proceeds of the gig will be split between the Eden Project itself and the band’s choice of charity Make Poverty History.

Tribal Gathering in aid of Sudan now on sale - 14 March 2005
Tribal Gathering is going back outdoors for the first time in eight years to raise money for the humanitarian effort in Sudan.
Organisers hope to raise about £400,000 from the event, to be held in “secret enchanted woodlands” near Leeds on July 16.
