Reading Festival gets bigger - 5 October 2007
Reading Festival organisers, Festival Republic, have purchased a further 65 acres increasing the Reading site to a massive 191 acres.

Reading and Leeds 2008 tickets go on sale - 28 August 2007
Early bird tickets for next years Reading and Leeds festivals are now on sale, at 2007 prices.
Tickets for the weekend with camping are priced at £145 and are available to buy here.
Reading and Leeds Festival takes place from Friday 22nd August until Sunday 24th August 2008.
Interpol cancel Newcastle gig - doubtful for Leeds and Reading - 23 August 2007
Interpol were forced to cancel a U.K. gig after a bandmember was struck down by a mystery illness.
The US group were due to play at the Newcastle Academy venue on Tuesday 21st August, but pulled out at the last minute.

Reading Festival close flooded campsites - 23 August 2007
Parts of the Reading Festival campsite have been abandonded, due to being still waterlogged after the recent floods.
BBC News reports that tther areas may be still “boggy”, fans have been warned.
But the main arena, which will host bands such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, is “fine”, organisers said.
