T in the Park 2011 Tickets

Headlining TITP 2011 are Foo Fighters, Coldplay and Arctic Monkeys, with Blink 182, Pulp, The Script and My Chemical Romance also joining them.

T in the Park 2011 takes place at Balado Airfield in Scotland from Friday 8th July to Sunday 10th July 2011.

It’s that time of year again when everyone makes the journey up to Scotland for another T in the Park festival.

To help make the journey a little bit easier, we’ve got the best directions, postcode and different ways of getting to T in the Park.

Postcode for Balado Airfield / T in the Park

T in the Park is based at Balado Airfield, near Kinross and the postcode for your sat nav is – KY13 0NW – click here for a routeplanner to plan your journey and get directions.

Getting there by car

From the south, M6 Northbound, M74, M73, A80, M876, A876, Kincardine Bridge and then A977.   This takes you around the outskirts of Glasgow, through Bonnybridge and over the Kincardine Bridge.

Alternatively, you could go M6, M74, M8, A90 – Inverkeithing, Queensferry Bridge and then M90 to Balado.

Getting there by bus

National Express run coaches up to Scotland from loads of destinations throughout the UK. Scottish Citylink Buses are also running festival shuttles from many Scottish cities, and are the official T in the Park travel provider.

Getting there by train

Train tickets to T in the Park can be booked online through thetrainline.com

Perth railway station is the nearest to the T in the Park festival site at Balado Airfield, located about 20 mins away.  Main stations such as Edinburgh and Glasgow are 50 and 80 mins away respectively.

T in the Park 2010 Weather Forecast

Rewind one month and you’d be have been basking in sunshine all this week and getting ready for much of the same at this weekend’s T in the Park festival, up in Scotland.

You could be lucky though as most of the weather forecasts are predicting sunshine and showers for the weekend and with the recent dry weather, the ground should be hard and dry therefore limiting the amount of mud.  Definately worth packing those wellies though – buy yours here today.

We’re normally right with our weather predictions and use many of the weather forecasts, as well as information from people in and around the festival sites.  Here’s our weather prediction for TITP!

Weather Predicti0n for T in the Park 2010

• Friday 9th July – Damp start to the day following a fair bit of overnight rain, but the rain will die off in the morning but it will remain cloudy with the odd patch of rain.  The afternoon sees a total reversal with the cloud moving away and the sunshine poking it’s head out, making it a very pleasant afternoon.  Temperatures are expected to be around 15-17°c, although it will feel much warmer in the afternoon and evening due to the sunshine.
  
• Saturday 10th July – You’ll be needing those wellies today, as the heavens are expected to well and truly open all throughout the day.   It will feel quite chilly compared to what we’ve had recently, so wrap up warm as temps are expected to exceed 12°c all day.
• Sunday 9th July – After yesterdays rain, sunshine is what everyone will be after and you’ll be pleased to hear Sunday does provide some….albeit in small doses.  Risk of rain is minimal and should turn out to be a pleasant day.  Temperatures will be slightly higher in the morning towards lunchtime with possible max temps of 17-18°c but then cool down to around 12°c in the evening.

Groove Armada and Kate Nash are amongst the latest additions the already stellar T in the Park lineup.

Joining headliners Muse and Kasabian will be Groove Armada, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Shed Seven, Kate Nash, Chipmunk, We Are Scientists, The Black Keys, Sven Vath, DJ Yoda and Adam Beyer.

T in the Park Festival takes place from July 9th to July 11th at Balado Airfield.

Tickets for T in the Park have now all sold out, although tickets are available through secondary fan to fan ticket sites such as Viagogo.

More names have been announced for the 2010 T in the Park festival with 80’s and 90’s legends Madness joining headliners Muse and Kasabian.

The extra bands just announced are  Jamie T, Paloma Faith, Frank Turner, Delphic, Kassidy, Crookers, The Sunshine Underground and The Middle East.

The lineup for T in the Park already includes Jay Z, Biffy Clyro, The Cribs, La Roux, The Prodigy and many more.

T in the Park Festival takes place from July 9th to July 11th at Balado Airfield.

Tickets for T in the Park 2010 go on sale this morning at 9am through official site Ticketmaster and a huge rush is expected, with the last lot of earlybird tickets selling out within  hours.

Muse, Eminem and Jay Z have just been announced for the 2010 T in the Park festival at a special launch event in Glasgow.

Muse were last at TITP back in 2004 where they vowed the crowd with their set and are certain to do so again in 2010.

Muse bassist Chris Wolstenholme was certainly well chuffed abour playing again at TITP.

Speaking to BBC’s Newsbeat he said “T In The Park we’ve done three or four times before but we’ve never headlined it before,” 

“I think Eminem is amazing. I haven’t listened to the last album much but the album before that was incredible. I’ve never seen him live before.

“The only problem we have is that it’s world cup final weekend. If it falls on the world cup final and England happen to be there I might have to go and watch England play instead.”

Joining the already announced Kasabian, rappers Eminem and Jay Z will also whip up the crowd and there’s expected to be a huge rush for tickets, which go on sale this Friday at 9am through Ticketmaster.

Many more acts have been announced for T in the Park 2010 including Black Eyed Peas, Calvin Harris, Empire of the Sun, The Cribs and The Prodigy in what is looking like the best lineup yet.

T in the Park takes place at Balado airfield from Friday 9th JUly to Sunday 11th July.

The first few acts for the T in the Park 2010 lineup will be announced today at a special launch event in Glasgow.

Kasabian are the first act to be revealed as a headliner for the 17th T in the Park festival, which takes place at Balado in Scotland from Friday 9th July to Sunday 11th July.

Rumours for the 2010 T in the Park lineup include Muse, Eminem, Jay Z and Biffy Clyro, although none of these have been confirmed yet.

Early bird tickets were released shortly after the 2009 festival and sold out quickly.  The next set of tickets for T in the Park go on sale on Friday 26th February at 9am and will be available through official ticket site, Ticketmaster from around £170 with camping.

Less than a week since T in the Park 2009 closed its doors and already people can’t wait for next years T in the Park!

T in the Park 2010 is set to place at Balado Airfield near Kinross from Friday 9th July 2010 until Sunday 11th July 2010. 

Early bird tickets for TITP2010 went on sale a few days ago and already there’s plenty of interest, especially since they’r at 2009 prices - get yours here.

T in the Park Festival boasts over 180 acts over the 3 days, so there’s plenty of room for plenty of acts.
