1.5 millions entries for Live 8 tickets - 27 June 2005
The Live 8 text contest has attracted 1.5 million entries within hours, as people try to win tickets for next month’s London show.
More than 150,000 tickets have been made available in the text competition.
Entrants aged 16 and over must send the answer to a multiple choice question to 84599 before midnight on Sunday.

eBay has banned the sale of free Live8 concert tickets which have been put up for auction at £2,000.

The RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS are to play a summer gig at the home of Manchester City.
They will play in front of 60,000 fans at the City Of Manchester Stadium, home of Man City, on June 18.
