Lily Allen cancels festivals for V Festival - 14 August 2007

Lily Allen has cancelled performances at a pair of continental festivals this week as she attempts to be healthy enough to play this coming weekend’s V Festival.
The singer will miss the Sagres Surf Festival in Portugal and Lowlands in Holland. She also missed the Oya Festival in Oslo, Norway.

A host of new acts have been confirmed for V Festival, which takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire over the weekend of 18 -19 August 2007.

Yet more bands have been confirmed for this year’s V Festival.
Mark Ronson, Jesse Malin, Mutya Buena, Captain, Chungking and Lena Rez have been added to the bill for the two-day event which takes place in Chelmsford and Staffordshire on 18th and 19th August this year.

V Festival Tickets sell out in record time - 5 March 2007

All of the tickets for V Festival 2007 completely sold out within hours, after going on sale on Thursday morning.
