T In The Park tickets sell out

24th February 2007 - 14:38

Tickets for T In the Park went on sale this morning at 9 and sold out within 40 minutes.

T In The Park, now a three day festival, takes place at Balado in Scotland from Friday 6th July to Sunday 8th July.

Festival organiser Geoff Ellis has said that more tickets for T In The Park will be released in coming weeks:

“While we thought that the T in the Park tickets would sell out quickly today, we are amazed that it has broken its own record as the fastest selling festival in the UK. Once again T in the Park fans have shown how much they love the festival and we look forward to seeing each and every-one of you there!

However, if you did not manage to get your hands on a ticket today then I urge you not to turn to unofficial online outlets or internet auction sites. Not only would you have to pay well over the odds, but you may be paying for tickets that do not exist and therefore you will not gain access to the festival.

Once the final capacity for the site is agreed, multiple bookings are made void and where possible, online lots are cancelled, a second batch of tickets will go onsale in the coming weeks. To be the first to find out when these tickets will become available then please sign up to tinthepark.com.”

T In The Park tickets should only be purchased through official outlets such as Lastminute and Ticketmaster
Organisers advise that fans will probably have to pay over the odds and there could be a high chance that tickets from unoffical outlets and website auctions may be fake.
